Where do you begin?
|

|
1. See a doctor or women’s clinic to MAKE SURE you really are pregnant and what that means physically for you.
2. TALK to someone you can trust about your situation (your parents, school nurse, pastor, friend, etc.) Don’t face your fears alone.
3. Meet with a qualified professional to EXPLORE all your options. Ask questions!
4. Take time to THINK through all those options. A “quick fix” may not be a wise choice.
5. IMAGINE your life in 5-10-15 years. Your decision will affect both your present and future life as well as your child’s.
Friends and family will likely want to tell you what you should do. Some may even try to make you feel guilty for considering all of your choices. But they are not going to walk in your shoes! You must decide, based on what you believe is best for you and for your child at this time in your life. Involve yourself with those who will encourage you to explore all your options carefully before making any permanent decisions.
