Adoptive Parent Requirements

Here are the characteristics we look for in our adoptive families:

1. Must have a strong desire to love a child.

2. Must have the ability and determination to raise a child not biologically born to you.

3. Must be in good physical and mental health.

4. Must have a reasonably stable financial situation to properly care for a child.

5. Preferably are open to adopt children of either sex but we will try to place within your desires when possible.  (Note: since birthparents typically choose families today, your chance of receiving a child quickly depends considerably on your openness to gender and background of the child.)

6. Must submit profile book including a Dear Birthparent letter and photos.

7. Must have approved homestudy in force.
